ESN Ukraine Spring National Assembly (09.05.2025, Lviv)

On 9th of May 2025, Lviv became the meeting point for youth leaders and advocates of international education, hosting the Spring Assembly of Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Ukraine. Organized with the support of the ESN Ukraine National Board and held at Lviv Polytechnic National University, the event gathered participants from ESN sections across the country, as well as international guests from Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria.

The Spring Assembly aimed to facilitate strategic planning, enhance collaboration between local and national levels, and provide educational workshops for members. It also marked a major milestone: the official approval of two new full-member sections — ESN IFNUL and ESN LPNU.

During the session, Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Manager of NEO in Ukraine, presented Erasmus+ opportunities for active youth. The presentation provided clear recommendations on searching for opportunities, preparing application packages, and the expected outcomes of mobility periods and Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees. Following the presentation, the speaker introduced youth exchanges and participation in volunteering projects as additional Erasmus+ options for the summer period. 

The speaker also focused on the importance of volunteering within ESN and the promotion of Erasmus+ opportunities. She emphasised the significant contribution to the development of individual skills, as well as the impact on students and youth in Lviv in terms of expanding opportunities, language learning, and gaining new educational experiences for personal and professional growth.
